As part of the production of the animated short film project "Death and the Girl", the project’s creator, director, and producer Nver Hovhannisyan paid a working visit to the prestigious Marché du Film, the film market of the Cannes Film Festival.
During the event, the filmmaker held a series of business meetings with international producers and production companies to present the project and explore potential collaboration opportunities.
As a result of these meetings, preliminary agreements were reached regarding international co-production and future cooperation on the project.
The Platform meeting also featured the presentation of an innovative AR/VR-based demining training module, designed to ensure safer and more effective training for deminers, while equipping CHDE with modern, technology-driven training tools.
The “911 Training” start up, represented by its founder Nver Hovhannisyan, also participated in the development of the AR/VR-based innovative training simulation module.

During the event, Death and the Girl attracted interest from several international partners. Discussions focused on potential co-production structures, technical collaboration, post-production support, and additional international financing opportunities.
The relationships established and agreements reached during the market represent an important step toward completing the project's fundraising efforts and securing the remaining financing required to enter full-scale production.
Death and the Girl is a 3D animated short film with a strong anti-war message, created using Unreal Engine 5. Set in a world consumed by endless war and human brutality, the story follows a young Death-Bringer who, shaken by the cruelty of the world around him, goes against his very nature to save an innocent girl whose heart has "refused to live."
The project has already received state support from the Cinema Foundation of Armenia and continues to actively seek international co-production partners, investors, and collaborators to bring the film into full production.
